Anthony Perruzza is running for Mayor to get a better deal for our city, fix Toronto and make life more affordable.
A city councillor for 17 years, Anthony has worked hard for local residents. He has delivered enhanced playgrounds and rebuilt roads and sewers. He worked to bring the subway line to North York, connecting people across the city and getting them where they need to go.
He is a champion for jobs and opportunities for youth in the Jane and Finch area. He has made the local community more liveable for families by regularly organizing park cleanups, tree plantings, and toy drives. Through Anthony’s dedication, the Yorkwoods Library and Theatre are being renovated, a new community centre is well on its way for Weston and Sheppard, and he championed the Jane-Finch Community Hub and Centre for the Arts.
In the last two budgets Anthony voted against property tax increases of 7% and 4.4%.
Anthony has always believed in making life affordable for Torontonians. He delivered property tax and utility bill rebates to hundreds of seniors. He pushed landlords to repair and upgrade rental housing.
Anthony and his wife Keyla are raising their two children in North York. They share their home with their elderly parents – two very active seniors.
Anthony believes that we can take real steps to fix our city. This is why he’s running to be your next mayor.
